Overview

Top 10 Holiday Parks is New Zealand's leading holiday park group with over 45 holiday parks across all of New Zealand. They provide fully integrated accommodation options to travellers from motels and self contained units through to cabins, tens and powered sites (caravans, motorhomes, campervans, RV's and winniebagoes).

The Challenge

Top 10 Holidays Parks needed to refresh their digital strategy with a primary focus to attract the large amount of travellers using mobile devices to research, plan and book their travel. Their existing strategy wasn't very mobile friendly including their website.  Their member parks were also losing lots of bookings directly to the Online Travel Agents such as Booking.com and Expedia who presented a much easier way to book on their portals and attracted Top10 Holiday Parks directly via their agressive marketing.

Solution

Top 10 Holiday Parks appointed Fastrack Group New Zealand to refresh their entire digitial strategy.  The first part of the strategy included redesigning their website and include a new mobile friendly Web Booking Interface (WBI) linked directly to their preferred PMS via API.  This was the preferred option than having a separate Web Booking Engine supplied by an external provider with no control of the booking process. By Top10 controlling the entire UX/UI journey on their website including integration their loyalty program, this greatly increased conversions and allowed a user a single site experience.  The Top Motels brand was also integrated into the one single website as well. After the website launch a comprehensive SEO/Content strategy was started as well as managing their when landing on their new website.

The Results

Since launching Top10's new website mid-December and their new search marketing strategy, Top10's website traffic has increased by over 18% and keeps on increasing month to month.  Click throughs have also increased by an average of 24%.  We are continuing to work with Top10 by introducing their new branding (April 2017) across all their digital assets and continuing with their serach marketing strategy and improving the conversion rate of their website.
