The Challenge

Faced with the ever-increasing competitiveness of the global hotel market and the continually rising costs of marketing and distribution globally, Swiss-Belhotel International needed to improve the ROI on their digital spend and increase direct bookings.

The Solution

Swiss-Belhotel International appointed Fastrack to review the conversion performance of their digital assets and conduct an audit of their existing SEO strategy and paid media campaigns. A new search marketing strategy was launched that included remarketing to targeted audiences, SEO and display advertising with the goal of increasing search engine visibility and online brand awareness.

An ongoing CRO strategy was launched to improve website user experience with the goal of improving conversions and overall revenue through the website. Lastly, a booking funnel visualisation was set up to increase understanding of user shopping behaviour and enable test and learn experiments to drive more bookings within the booking funnel.

The Results

Fastrack’s SEM strategy drove a large increase in targeted traffic. The SEO optimisation produced higher organic traffic year on year for the Swiss-Belhotel properties that Fastrack had been tasked to improve. It’s too early to draw results from the ongoing conversion rate optimisation.
