A Simple Test to See If Your Website Is Ready for April 21st

02 Apr 2015 Toby Shaw

According to Google's official post on February 26, 2015, the search engine will publish a major update on April 21 that is the biggest change yet to mobile search:

"This change will affect mobile searches worldwide and will have significant impact in our search results"

The change will affect all websites as Google looks to optimise search for mobile users. What definitely concerns you is your site's mobile behaviour. Check to see if your website is mobile responsive and fully scan-able by GoogleBot using their mobile-friendly tool. Check multiple pages on your site as pages are judged on a page-by-page basis.

If your website fails the test, contact us immediately to discuss a mobile responsive website and Google search solution... Or risk being penalised on April 21.
