Coogee Bay Hotel is located beside sundrenched Coogee Beach in Sydney. The award-winning venue features two accommodation options, brasserie dining, an alfresco garden which is heated in winter, numerous bars, conference facilities, a 1,700-capacity live entertainment venue and two liquor outlets.
Coogee Bay Hotel has two distinct accommodation areas located in separate buildings offering a variety of accommodation. Faced with year-round high-occupancy, their challenge was to improve direct enquiries and bookings. Coogee Bay Hotel reached out to Fastrack to help them implement a direct booking solution using primarily the SEM channel. The challenge was that the term ‘Coogee Bay Hotel’ is an iconic location brand term which meant the average cost per click (CPC) was much higher than normal.
Coogee Bay Hotel appointed Fastrack following the launch of their new website and web booking engine. A search engine marketing strategy was executed including remarketing to targeted return audiences and a search marketing and display campaign to drive new audiences to the website. A pop-up was also added to the website to deliver a direct booking message that was very prominent to any website visitor.
